Evolution

Evolution

Today’s investors lead busy lives and many do not want the added responsibility of handling their own portfolio of assets. Evolution allows your clients to build a portfolio as individual as they are, but without the hassle of the day to day paperwork.

It is designed to adapt to their changing needs over time, giving them the option to respond to rapidly changing markets with the ability to spread their investments across a range of risk levels.

Evolution is an offshore, single premium investment bond designed for medium to long term investment (meaning at least five to ten years or longer). To increase flexibility the bond will normally be made up of a series of 12 identical policies, called segments.

Your clients can use it:

  • to provide an ‘income’ through regular withdrawals of capital;
  • purely for capital growth; or
  • to combine the two.

The proceeds can be used for wealth preservation, retirement planning and providing for your clients’ family or beneficiaries.

It is unit linked, which means that the investment is used to purchase units in the chosen fund(s), thereby pooling the investment with those of investors with similar objectives. This has the benefit of spreading the investment and administration costs. But please remember that unit prices in the bond can fall as well as rise and are not guaranteed.

We offer access to a comprehensive range of AXA Family, Select and External investment funds. Funds are available with a variety of risk profiles. Details of the choice of investment funds available can be obtained on request from your Business Development Manager. Depending on the funds chosen, there may be an initial charge and a yearly management charge.

It is important to take into account market fluctuations and charges, as your client may not get back as much as they invest, especially in the early years.
