Regular Investment Account

The Regular Investment Account is designed for people who wish to accumulate wealth gradually.

It’s an offshore investment bond designed for medium to long term investment (meaning 5 to 10 years or longer) and will normally be made up of 120 identical policies, called segments. Unlike some forms of investment and saving, this product gives your clients access to the proceeds of their investment when they need it. Although, taking money out may impact the potential for future growth.

It comes with access to a wide range of investment funds from our AXA Family and AXA Select ranges, enabling your client to map-out a plan for the future. Funds are available with a variety of risk profiles. Details of the choice of investment funds available can be obtained on request from your Business Development Manager.

The Regular Investment Account is an offshore bond with considerable flexibility, allowing your clients to invest monthly, or take advantage of other regular and single payment options. It is possible to invest as little as £100 into each fund for regular payments and £1000 for single payments, therefore allowing a diversified portfolio of investment funds to be established.

The Regular Investment Account is extremely adaptable and could be suitable for a range of different purposes, such as:

• Retirement planning – Your clients might need to put money away to allow them to retire on their terms
• Business cash – Your clients business may need its spare cash to work harder
• International mobility – Your clients may be planning to work or move overseas, but want to continue investing, if it is tax efficient to do so.
• Education fee planning – Your clients may wish to fund a high quality school and/or university education for their (grand) children.

It must be remembered that:

• Unit prices in the bond can fall as well as rise and are not guaranteed.
• It is important to take into account market fluctuations and charges, as your clients may not get back as much as they invest, especially in the early years.
